Deck Review:The lost Tarot of Nostradamus
The Lost Tarot of Nostradamus I have recently stumbled upon this deck- The Lost Tarot of Nostradamus published by Tuttle. It was like dirt cheap on amazon and i kind of jumped in and ordered. Because as we know our thirst for new decks sometimes burns a whole in our purses. Honestly, i never thought this will be so much of a package. I mean its a bigger box than the usual. And, to my surprise it came with an actual book(not a regular LWB) by John Matthews and Will Kingham. The book is of 160 pages and such a beautiful description! Thorough and deep. In the box there are two dents for two halves of the deck. Its a very unusual deck i would say. The images are copied and vectored from the original images drawn by Nostradamus. The four suits are also differently named. The Sun, Moon, Star and Globe (wands, cups, swords and pentacles). The court card names are different as well. Its a bit hard for a first timer to remember and connect with the images and depiction...
